Delivered WCO Virtual Risk Management Workshop for Uzbekistan Customs

I had the privilege of co-facilitating the WCO Virtual Risk Management Workshop for Uzbekistan Customs from 16 to 20 March 2026, under the SECO-WCO Global Trade Facilitation Programme (GTFP).

The workshop focused on strengthening risk management governance, institutional frameworks, and practical implementation strategies aligned with international standards.

During the workshop, we covered:

• Risk management governance and institutional frameworks
• Alignment with international standards and best practices
• Practical implementation strategies for Customs
• Interactive discussions and knowledge exchange

The sessions provided an excellent opportunity to collaborate with Uzbekistan Customs in strengthening its risk management capabilities to facilitate legitimate trade and support effective revenue collection.

The mission was organized by the World Customs Organization (WCO) under the SECO-WCO Global Trade Facilitation Programme (GTFP).
