Leading Training on Data-Driven Journalism and AI Tools at CMR Nepal

I had the privilege of contributing to a specialized training session organized by the CMR Nepal - Journalism Academy, focused on strengthening the capacity of Nepali journalists in the digital age. It was pleasure to engage with such an energetic group of professionals dedicated to these principles.

My session was designed to bridge the gap between complex global economic datasets and impactful storytelling. I shared practical strategies for navigating international trade and economic databases, emphasizing how structured data can uncover trends that shape our national economy. Furthermore, we explored the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in the newsroom, specifically how AI tools can be harnessed to analyze vast datasets and generate actionable insights with precision and speed.

It was truly inspiring to witness the dedication of the participants as they explored technology-enabled approaches to modernize their craft. I am grateful to the CMR Nepal - Journalism Academy for the opportunity to contribute to this vital initiative.
